“I see fire” – A música linda de O Hobbit 2

Eu e o meu namorado, desde que nos conhecemos, temos o costume de ir ao cinema no Natal. Foi sem querer. No primeiro ano fomos, no segundo também, aí acabou virando uma espécie de tradição. Nesse ano fomos assistir O Hobbit 2: A Desolação de Smaug. É otimo, assim como o primeiro. Eu adorei! Mas sobre isso comento amanhã. Preciso falar de outra coisa primeiro: A música que toca ao final.

Sou do tipo de pessoa que gosta de ao fim de um filme assistir os créditos rolarem. Ver o elenco, os produtores, o nome das músicas usadas como trilha sonora e até mesmo a quantidade de dublês (Sempre me impressiono com a quantidade). Às vezes sou a última a sair da sala do cinema. E, por causa disso, ao terminar O Hobbit 2 ouvi a canção tema, que é sensacional. Me chamou tanto a atenção que na hora liguei no celular o aplicativo Sound Hound (Conhecem? Ele “escuta” a música que está tocando e busca num banco de dados o nome dela e quem canta. É muito prático!) e descobri que se chama I See Fire, do cantor inglês Ed Sheeran.

Esse é o Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran foi escolhido por Peter Jackson, diretor de O Hobbit, para criar a música tema. Ed viu o filme, escreveu a canção e a gravou no mesmo dia. Rapaz eficiente, não? Acho que é por isso que é possível “sentir” uma ligação de I See Fire com o longa. Em questão de pouquíssimos dias após o lançamento nas rádios, a música virou a número 1 em vários países. E com razão: É linda.
